Trying very hard to keep up with my blogs. I have learnt how to download my own photo into my blog and how to load a photo from flickr. Feeling a sense of achievment even if it is very amature.

This was great, however i do not feel confident to change something on a Wiki. I may feel different if i had something to add or knew that there was information that was incorrect. It is a little scary knowing that the information in Wikis (open) can be played with and changed. This is where trust comes in and we hope that everyones contribution is correct.

This looks like a lovely library childrens corner. This was simple to do, once I had a yahoo account.

Grandma celebrated her 90th birthday on Sunday. She is not my oldest grandparent though, that would be my grandfather who is 95. Both are still very active. I know this has absolutely nothing to do with Story time, I will have to take some photos to share with everyone.

Wheels on the Bus

Tomorrow I have decided to do "Wheels on the Bus" for story time. I have made an interactive bus as a craft, where the wheels move, the door opens and shuts and the windscreen wiper goes swish, swish. Hope they enjoy and the craft goes well.

The songs we are singing are the Wheels on the Bus (of course) and Take you riding.

Storytime in Gatton

The Gatton Library holds storytime for 0 to 5 year olds every Wednesday at 10.30am.
Each week has a different theme and craft, we sing songs and have lots of fun. Best of all, it's FREE!! It is a great morning for children and parents to make new friends and join in on the fun.
We have a wonderful team of girls who put so much effort into creating programmes that are exciting for the children. Our wish for this year is to see storytime grow into something wonderful for the littlies of Gatton and surrounding areas. Stay tuned to hear more!! :)
